This long documentary follows several youth on quests in their beloved hometown, Lawrence, Massachusetts -- called the “Immigrant City” for a century. Six years ago public protests led by teenagers inspired new enterprise, education reform, activist politics and creative self-discovery. Our cameras follow Fran, Elissa, Leida and others, as they grapple with how to square the American Dream with hardcore reality in New England’s first Latino city, with insights for youth everywhere.
